KCS launches a service for checking counterparties

144 viewing

With the new Tax Code coming into effect, the Committee of State Revenues (KCS) announced a transition to an updated model for managing tax risks. Instead of the previous system of categorizing taxpayers, a more flexible data-driven analysis will now be applied.

How the system will change

The new model provides for assessing risks across several dimensions:

• types of taxes
• industries
• regions
• groups of enterprises and other parameters

This approach is intended to help identify potential violations more accurately and improve the quality of tax administration.

Online service for checking counterparties

The KCS reminded taxpayers about the online service “Information on counterparties”. It helps evaluate the reliability of partners using open data. Users can access the following information:

• tax regime
• VAT registration status
• amounts of taxes paid
• number of employees
• tax burden coefficient
• information about directors and founders
• presence of restrictions related to e-invoices (ESF)
• inclusion in the list of unreliable organizations

To check a company, users can simply visit the KCS portal and enter the BIN or IIN.

The committee noted that the service will continue to be improved. Future updates will take into account the suggestions and needs of taxpayers.
