Digital Employment Service to launch across all regions of Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is introducing a Digital Employment Service that will automatically match jobseekers with vacancies and offer employment support. The service is expected to launch across all 20 regions of the country by the end of 2026.

Minister of Labour and Social Protection Askarbek Yertayev presented an update on the project at a meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan.

The Digital Employment Service will identify people who may need help finding a job. Notifications will be sent through eGov, Enbek.kz, or by SMS from 1414.

Artificial intelligence will recommend vacancies in the jobseeker’s region and elsewhere in the country, including jobs in skilled trades. If additional skills are required, the system will suggest training or retraining programmes.

Users may also receive recommendations for relocation programmes in regions with suitable job opportunities.

The Digital Employment Service began operating in the Pavlodar Region in July 2026. During the pilot, residents received 39,000 employment-related notifications.

Over the same period, 962 people found employment.

The Digital Employment Service is expected to launch in the Mangystau Region in September. It will then be rolled out across the remaining regions of Kazakhstan.

Vacancy listings and training recommendations will also be available through the Aitu mobile app.
