Kazakhstan has launched a pilot service that collects and organises mandatory requirements for entrepreneurs. The system analyses legislation and displays the rules relevant to a specific type of business activity.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
The system will compile a list of business requirements
AI algorithms analyse current laws and regulations, identify requirements for entrepreneurs, and consolidate them into a structured register.
The service is expected to reduce the time businesses spend searching for and reviewing legislation. Entrepreneurs will be able to access a list of requirements for starting and operating their chosen type of business.
Legislative changes will be tracked automatically
When laws and regulations are updated, the system will automatically revise the information in the register. This will help companies learn about new requirements sooner and incorporate them into their operations.
The service is expected to reduce the risk of unintentional violations and make business regulation more transparent.
More than 130,000 requirements have been added to the system
During preliminary testing, approximately 67,000 requirements from legislation and 64,000 from inspection checklists were uploaded to the system.
The algorithms were tested in the areas of environmental regulation, transport, and land use. According to the developers, the system identified requirements with an accuracy of 93–95%.
The service will become available on eGov Business
The AI navigator is currently available on the digital business platform and operates in pilot mode. It is also expected to launch on the eGov Business portal in the near future.
No timeline has yet been announced for the completion of testing or the full launch of the service.
