Kazakhstan is developing more than 50 AI agents for public services, healthcare and business support. The projects are part of the country’s digital transformation agenda, according to the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
Digital transformation spans 72 areas
Kazakhstan has approved 20 digital transformation roadmaps covering 72 areas, from industry and energy to healthcare and education.
The country is moving toward an AI-First approach, making artificial intelligence a core layer of public services and digital interaction with businesses. The new solutions are expected to automate routine work, make services easier to access and reduce costs for entrepreneurs.
AI helps doctors detect diseases earlier
Some of the solutions are already being used in healthcare. For example, Cerebra AI analyses medical images and helps clinicians diagnose strokes faster.
According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health, the system has been deployed in nine stroke centres. Since its launch, the use of thrombolytic therapy has increased by 40%. The solution is expected to expand to 33 centres in 2026.
Doctors in dozens of clinics are also being supported by an AI-powered clinical assistant.
Entrepreneurs get support when launching a business
An AI assistant for aspiring entrepreneurs analyses the competitive landscape and provides information needed to launch a business. The ministry estimates that the service could halve operating costs at the early stage.
A 24/7 AI tax assistant is also already available, alongside a digital assistant developed with the Baiterek holding company. The latter guides entrepreneurs through applications for financing.
Anti-fraud systems will block scam calls
Another priority is using AI to protect people from fraud. Kazakhstan plans to introduce anti-fraud systems capable of identifying and blocking suspicious calls before the recipient answers.
Civil servants are being trained in vibe coding
Civil servants are being introduced to vibe coding — creating software and AI agents through natural-language prompts. The idea is to enable employees to build tools that automate their routine tasks independently.
These projects form part of the Digital Qazaqstan strategy through 2029. It envisages a shift from digitising individual services to a unified, data- and AI-driven management system.
PROFIT Infrastructure Day will take place in Almaty on 9 October 2026. The conference will explore the use of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and analytics in managing buildings, cities and infrastructure.
