From January 1, 2026, updated values of key national indicators used for calculating administrative fines, social payments, benefits, and certain types of taxes will come into effect in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Approved parameters are applied in state regulation and revised annually based on socio-economic dynamics.
Approved indicators for 2026
According to the updated data, the following values will apply starting in the new year:
• Monthly Calculation Index (MCI) — 4 325 tenge (in 2025 — 3 932 tenge)
• Minimum Wage — 85 000 tenge (no changes)
• Minimum Pension — 69 049 tenge (in 2025 — 62 771 tenge)
• Minimum Basic Pension Payment — 35 596 tenge (in 2025 — 32 360 tenge)
• Living Wage (Subsistence Minimum) — 50 851 tenge (in 2025 — 46 228 tenge)
